The gala took place in the factory specialising in the railway and machine-building fasteners. Director of "MMK-METIZ" Sergey Ushakov, Magnitogorsk Deputy Mayor Vladimir Ushakov, Head of Lenin region Vadim Chuprin, Chairman of Magnitogorsk Urban Meeting of Delegates Alexander Morozov, Chairman of Trade-Union Committee of "MMK-METIZ" Andrey Solotsky, labour collective and veterans took part in the ceremony. Sergey Ushakov noted that the record is the result of work of many generations of factory workers who could start practically from null manufacture, and expand and develop it.
Now "MMK-METIZ" is included into Group MMK, and is one of the largest hardware plants in the Russian Federation selling products in the Russian market and delivering it in many countries of the world. The company share in the domestic hardware products market following the results of the first quarter 2013 was 23%. Among the products of the company, the important place are fastening products. High technology and high-duty cold and hot heading  thermal galvanic equipment allows the company to gain fastening products with high-class strength and quality.
At the factory, the modernization program is successfully realized, and new aspects of fasteners are started to be produced. For more than 70 years of history, the company has  manufactured 10 million tons of fasteners, and the total amount of hardware products of Magnitogorsk reached nearly 65 million tons.
