Sheng Long Relocates to New Plant

Excellence in Customizing Non-standard Punches

Sheng Long Enterprise Co., Ltd. has been dedicated to the manufacture of punches for nearly 25 years. It is widely admired by most customers for its employment of innovative technology to research and develop punches in particular profiles. Most of the punches in particular profiles used in Taiwan are made by Sheng Long. Provision of such sophisticated punches produced with core technology greatly uplifts the competitive edge of Taiwanese fasteners. Sheng Long can be regarded as one of the contributors that help establish a well-built satellite fastener manufacturing base in Taiwan.

Focusing on Satellite Fastener Manufacturing Base in Kaohsiung and Celebrating Inauguration of 36,000 sq Feet Plant

In order to appreciate the diligence of employees and give them a more comfortable working environment, Sheng Long then scheduled to move to a new location in 2010 and planned to procure land and build a new plant in the fastener manufacturing heartland (i.e. Tainan or Kaohsiung). In March 2014, it moved into the newly inaugurated and tens of million NT dollars worth of plant (with 36,000 sq feet net floor) in Luzhu from Gangshan, which has now started to operate.

The new plant is installed with multiple sets of high-tech precision machines for improving quality control and the accuracy of products, which can satisfy customers caring about perfection of quality. In addition, Sheng Long reinforces staff training, improves manufacturing process, develops burnishing technology, prolongs product durability, and ensures the irreplaceability of its products.

Positive Customers’ Feedbacks Are Momentum of Sheng Long’s R&D

Over a decade ago, Sheng Long expected that the fastener industry would be getting more mature and customers’ criteria for quality would also be getting stricter, which means that the materials used to manufacture punches in Taiwan would change, so it started to develop and manufacture punches in special steel, tungsten carbide, and other durable materials in addition to the existing product range, thus successfully retaining its competitiveness in the fastener market.

Its experience in using durable metal and insistence on continuous R&D are actually where quality and technology of Sheng Long’s punches are from. Mr. Hogar Huang (rep of the company) said modestly, “We persist in going on the right way, so we can get customers’ admiration. With customers’ positive feedbacks, we can be more confident but never be complacent.
