Isogai Fastener Ind. Co., Ltd will be celebrating its 60th anniversary this September. Its products include small diameter screws, shafts and rings. A few years ago it set up an electroplating plant in Osaka. This year it introduced a fully automatic cleansing machine.

It launched the Ibaraki Plant in 2000 producing brass pins used for alkaline batteries. To prevent battery liquid leaks, this type of pins have stringent requirement that the pins shall not attach to impure objects nor bend.  Isogai Fastener adopts press formers imported form Europe and therefore becomes one of the few companies able o mass produce this type of pins. Regarding surface treatment, Isogai Fastener took over Teikoku Electric's Tagawa Plant in charge of tin plating the pins, and successfully established a one-stop production system ranging from manufacturing to electroplating.
