Announcement on Postponement of China International Hardware Show 2020 (CIHS 2020)

In view of the continuous spreading of COVID-19 all over the world and the latest epidemic prevention requirements of China and the government of Shanghai, in order to guarantee the health and safety of exhibitors, purchasers and professional visitors, China National Hardware Association and Koelnmesse have prudently decided to postpone China International Hardware Show 2020 (CIHS 2020) from August 7 - 9, 2020 to October 8 - 10, 2021. The event will still be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC).
Co-hosted by China National Hardware Association and Koelnmesse, CIHS has been held for 19 continuous editions and become the largest international professional hardware show in the Asia-Pacific region. Every year, it attracts the participation of exhibitors from around 20 countries and regions, as well as buyers and professional visitors from over 80 countries and regions. However, due to the continuous epidemic spread overseas at present, people entering China still need to abide by the quarantine policy. In addition, Shanghai is no longer a first entry city anymore. For these reasons, a lot of overseas exhibitors, buyers and professional visitors will be unable to join the show which was due to be held in August as scheduled. After frequent negotiations and based on the consultation with exhibitors and overseas buyers, the organizers finally decided to postpone the show.
