Integrate with Digitized Innovation ; Connect with SMEs- Fastener World Visits DAKUO Incubation Center with NCKU Students & Professor JrJung Lyu

The age of digitization calls for new entrepreneurs and business owners aimed at transformation and upgrade to utilize digital technology and product development driven by creativity and innovation. Particularly in a post-pandemic era, supply chain and industry structures have reshuffled, and business communication models are more inclined to using the Internet and are going virtual. It is nearly impossible to dwell on conventional commercial thinking in doing business with the world. Everyone is seeking a ground-breaking business pattern.
As a professor in the Dept. of Industrial and Information Management of NCKU, Mr. JrJung Lyu is also the president of Electronic Business Management Society as well as the director of Center for Quality and Innovation. As part of his “e-Business Strategy” course in NCKU (National Cheng Kung University), Professor Lyu led 15 students with various talents from Taiwan, Japan, Germany, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam to visit DAKUO (Digital Art Kaohsiung United Office) on November 14, 2021. Fastener World Magazine was also invited to participate by the professor.
“The fastener industry is a pillar for Taiwan’s manufacturing and industrial economy. My students have expressed an interest in fastener companies and they hope to spark international collaboration with those companies someday,” said Professor Lyu. Additionally, DAKUO is an incubation center for Taiwan to cultivate talents on digital transformation. Through this visit, Professor Lyu hopes to cultivate international talents who have come to NCKU. With the participation of Fastener World, he wants to connect the fastener industry with the talents from NCKU to form collaborations.
DAKUO geologically connects with Kaohsiung Software Technology Park and the Kaohsiung harbor within the Asia New Bay Area located in Kaohsiung City. It provides digital innovation related consulting service on finance, law, management and marketing, and has the digital equipment required for corporate marketing. It also has a live streaming room, product showcase room, and a green screen for live VR streaming to offer real-time post-production technology. DAKUO can be a boost for SMEs to go on transformation, upgrade and marketing in the post-pandemic era.
