Taiwan Exhibitors Showed Power at Int’l Hardware Fair Cologne 2012

The largest-scale and biannual hardware fair around the world “Int’l Hardware Fair Cologne, Germany” was successfully held during March 4-7 this year. This show is the best approach for entering German and European markets and is the best timing to meet professional buyers from around the world. This year it attracted nearly 2,700 exhibitors from over 50 countries including 409 Taiwanese exhibitors (which surpassed the record of 387 exhibitors from Germany). Taiwan exhibiting group was the second largest exhibiting group at the show. Most Taiwanese exhibitors were located in Hall 3.2, 18 companies of which were led by Fastener World Inc. Every exhibitor seized the chance to show their spectacular products and wished to win the favor of buyers.
This show demonstrated the specialized technology and products of all hardware. Three main exhibiting zones were included: Tools, Security & Locks, and Building Materials & DIY Products. Wholesalers, suppliers, and purchasers from related industries all gathered here. According to the onsite observation of the staff from Fastener World Inc., several visitors visited Taiwan Pavilion to look for related products and information. Regarding the inquiries for hardware, many visitors were looking for locks and plastic fasteners. This popularity of Taiwan Pavilion showed that the quality and technology of the products Made-in-Taiwan were widely recognized by many buyers and business opportunities were seen around Taiwan Pavilion.
