2015 Taiwan Hardware Show Opens with Increased Scale

The 15th 2015 Taiwan Hardware Show opened its gates at Greater Taichung International Expo Center on October 12. The 3-day show this year had increased scale and spanned the area of 15.1 thousand square meters, attracting 382 Taiwanese and overseas exhibitors including renowned Brighton-best International, Yih Cheng Factory, Kai Suh Suh Enterprise, Proxene Tools, Ching Chan Optical Technology, Karat Industrial, A-Kraft Tools Manufacturing, Win Features Industry, Kheiron Corp., Eclatorq Technology, K&W Tools, and Matatakitoyo Tool. The show has become the focused international hardware exhibition in Asia.
Taichung is where many SMEs were founded. The city gathers multiple industrial clusters for hand tools, machine tools, woodworking tools, bikes, and aerospace components. Holding an industry-specific exhibition in Taichung creates the benefit and efficacy of “visiting the show and placing orders on the same day. This year the show was divided into 8 exhibit zones including Tools & Accessories, Locks, Fasteners, Building Materials, Gardening & Outdoor Appliances, etc.
The organizer has not yet announced the statistics of numbers for exhibitors and visitors, but our staff onsite reports, “We saw foreign visitors during the 3-day show. Their visit marks the internationality of the show. Most of them were looking for hand tools and industrial components.” Many exhibitors said, “This is a well-organized great show with convenient transport networks, well-arranged exhibit zones, industrial forums, business-matching meetings, new product release events, and factory tours.”
