DESIGNBUILD AUSTRALIA

The annual DesignBUILD 2016 successfully took place at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Center on May 4-6. Fastener World Inc. as one of the exhibitors this year also participated to locate business opportunities for Taiwanese fastener suppliers. DesignBUILD is the only trade show in Australia dedicated to construction hardware, building materials, and related trade activities. Many professionals from the industry sectors such as construction, design, and building materials all came to the show to see new products, new materials, and new industrial trends. According to a local news media, Melbourne as one of the most important industrial heartlands in Australia may attract more than 2.5 million young residents and workers within the next 5 years. As a result, with the increasing demand for residential houses, home builders were very eager to find more high quality and inexpensive building materials from this show. Exhibits of this show ranged from building materials, hardware, glass, to various tools, sanitary ware, lighting, doors & windows, etc. Visiting buyers could make the most of this show to make inquiries and find their own business partners. With more than 30 years of show history, DesignBUILD can always attract nearly 7,000 professionals from related industries every year. The next DesignBUILD will return again to Sydney in 2017.
