Review of 2016 Abu Dhabi Hardware Show

The Middle East is still a new market for many companies around the world. However, no one will deny that this region is growing and emerging to show its potential to the whole world. The Middle East is now also an economic power that cannot be ignored. According to one market survey, the construction industry value of UAE is estimated to reach about USD 54.1 billion by the end of 2016. Not to mention that the projects (e.g., railways or airports) in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Qatar, etc. are also under construction. Observing so many favorable factors, Fastener World’s correspondent once again went to the Middle East to exhibit at the 2016 Abu Dhabi Hardware Show given on Oct. 03-05 for getting to know the current fastener market in the region further. In addition to local exhibitors from the UAE, companies from Germany, Poland, and Canada also came to showcase their new innovation and technology.

2016 Abu Dhabi Hardware Show is the first and only exhibition specialized for hardware in Abu Dhabi, which was held in Hall 2 (ADNEC). Fastener World’s correspondent reported that this show was an excellent platform for relevant companies to showcase their latest products and innovative technology to the UAE and other adjacent countries. Visitors were mostly industrial professionals such as CEOs of import traders, sales representatives, and managing directors from the UAE and GCC countries (e.g., Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, etc.) Well-known hand tools suppliers such as DEWALT, Bosch, Stanley Black & Decker, Metabo, and Wera also participated in this show.
