Since its first edition in 1998, Moscow International Tool Expo has become a leading professional hardware & tools exhibition in the region and one of the most influential hardware trade event in Europe. For years, Russia has been one of the most important business centers in the great area of former CIS countries, E. Europe and W. Europe. In recent years, Russian government continues to reinforce its investment in infrastructure, so the demand for construction equipment, hardware, and related tools also grows year after year. The exhibition this year took place at Expocentre Fairgrounds (Pavilion #2) on Nov. 8-11 and main exhibits were power/pneumatic tools, hand tools, automotive maintenance & repair tools, inspection equipment, fasteners, packaging, and wholesale facilities, small hardware products, etc. According to Fastener World’s correspondent on-site, “Russia has very well-developed national defense and heavy industries, but when it comes to hardware tools and related technology, Russia still has to rely on import. As a result, for many Taiwanese companies, Russia is definitely a very potential market.
