Dokka Fasteners has invested in a new Norway-based production unit, which enables it to support customers’ demand for high tensile bolting up to M100. The production unit contains fully automated facilities for hot forging, CNC machining, thread rolling and full non-destructive testing (such as ultrasonic inspection, hardness with possible laser engraving of results and magnetic particle inspection). It also keeps critical processes, such as hardening, hot dip galvanizing and in-house quality inspection. Its fully automated manufacturing unit creates a unique consistency in the quality of products, which is important in order to meet customers’ demands and applications in harsh environments. Its bolts are in production for offshore wind projects (M72 HV set) and for one of the world’s largest oil & gas OEM (4” Riser Bolts).
