Japan Automobile Production and Sales Data for July 2012

According to the data of Japan Auotmobile Manufacturers Association, Inc., (JAMA) Japan’s automobile production in July 2012 was recorded as 922,685 units. Compared with the 790,325 units total recorded for the same month of the previous year, this is an increase of 132,360 units or 16.7%, and production increase on the same month of the previous year for ten consecutive months. In regard to the number of automobile domestic sales, the sales figure in July 2012 stood at 513,125 vehicles, up 37.5% as compared with the same month of the previous year.
