Portland Precision's New Zeiss Inspection Equipment Ensures Quality

Portland Precision Manufacturing Company is using the latest Zeiss Contura G2 CMM inspection equipment for quality control purposes. This equipment ensures that their customers' precision machined parts meet all tolerances and dimensional requirements within three microns.

Since 1967, Portland Precision has delivered versatile, advanced contract CNC precision machining for customers throughout the Northwestern United States. From their 20,000 square foot machine shop in Portland, Oregon, the company provides full service manufacturing, short run machining, and prototype machining services. Due to the nature of the company's customer base—which includes clients in optical, aerospace, and other highly technical and scientific industries—maintaining tight tolerances is a key concern. Use of the Zeiss Contura G2 has elevated Portland Precision Manufacturing's quality control capabilities to a higher plane.
