TimberTech(R) Offers Industry’s First Complete Hidden Fastening System

TimberTech, a leading manufacturer of alternative decking materials has partnered with FastenMaster, the industry’s most trusted brand of contractor-quality fasteners, to create TimberTech Cortex, a hidden deck fastener for perimeter and replacement boards, and stairs.

TimberTech Cortex is installed using a drill and the Cortex setting tool. Using the setting tool, installers simply drive the Cortex screw to a preset level below the decking surface. The Cortex plug is then placed into the hole and then gently tapped flush with the surface. Hidden fastening offers a clean, attractive decking surface for the homeowner and a fast and easy installation process for the contractor.
