Bossard to Buy Electrical Engineer

Bossard Group announced it intends to acquire Intrado AG (Hünenberg), which has served the Swiss industry with a wide range of electrical engineering products for over 25 years. Intrado AG is a fully owned subsidiary of Jacob GmbH in Kernen, Germany, and is a general importer for the Jacob GmbH cable glands program. The acquisition will complement Bossard's own range of fastening components for the electrical engineering industry, as well as strengthening its competence and expertise in a field that requires intensive consulting. Jacob GmbH will also have the opportunity to distribute its products globally via Bossard. In 2012, Intrado AG turned over CHF 3.2 million (2.6 million euros) with ten employees.
