M-Tech Tokyo 2013 unveiled on June 19 and successfully closed on June 21 at Tokyo Big Site with swarming visitors crowding the whole venue. According to the organizer’s statistics, this time (17th edition) the show gathers 1,930 companies, and visitor count amounts to as high as 76,701 people, once again breaking the highest records of the show’s history. During this edition, the organizer set up 2 new sub-zones:“Difficult-to-Cut Materials Fabrication Fair” and “Joining/Welding/Cutting Fair”. The show attracted fastener makers, auto parts makers, and processing lathes makers from mainly Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and China. The venue is filled with various fastener products of new technology, processing machines, and latest fastening solutions. This time, Fastener World Inc. brought 3 Taiwan exhibitors to the show: RAY FU ENTERPRISE CO., LTD., L & W FASTENERS CO., LTD., and WA TAI INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. All the 3 exhibitors showed their competitiveness and promoted Taiwan’s high quality image to the Japan market. On-site buyers were mainly procuring agents and manufacturers from Japan and Korea, other buyers were from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Israel, etc. Japanese buyers specifically searched for high quality stainless steel fasteners, customized special fasteners, and fasteners of special coatings. In addition, some buyers hoped to seek and contact Taiwanese high quality fasteners and washers suppliers via Fastener World Inc. Taiwan fastener corporations are mature in technology and product quality; therefore, they can grasp opportunities to make contact with Japanese companies to expand global sales. Since Q1 of 2013, Japan fastener industry has been recovering along with the comeback of the auto industry. So far the domestic demand and foreign sales of Japan industry are looking good, and Japan is gradually getting away from the shadow of earthquake catastrophe and global recession. M-Tech Tokyo 2013 has attracted many on-site buyers to inquire and place orders. Let us look forward the next edition of bigger scale!
