New Useful Screwdriver Design

Many people use screwdrivers with too much force, which may result in blisters on hands. In order to solve this problem, Wang, Cyun-Kai from Department of Innovation Design Engineering of National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology modified the design of a screwdriver with the addition of a click button. When the user keeps clicking the button, the inner gear will push the screwdriver to turn, so the fastener can be tightened or loosened. He said that such a new screwdriver is user-friendly and can save 50% of the time of tightening a screw. In addition, this design offers the interchangeability for bits and makes it possible to turn screws clockwise or counter-clockwise. The grip is quite slim and is suitable for holding and clicking with only one hand.
