Swiss Dental Implant Supplier Straumann Reports Net Profit Surge in 2014

Benefited by the increasing demand from China and Japan, Swiss dental implant supplier Straumann also see recovery of its business in Europe. Its global revenue increased 4.5% in 2014 to CHF710.3 million, a surge in net profit.
Its net profit grew 56% in 2014 to CHF157.8 million. EBIT was up 28% to CHF148.3 million. Straumann expects that in 2015 the global dental implant market will continue to recover and revenue of the company is very likely to achieve a one-digit medium-level growth. The revenue calculated in CHF will be influenced by the fluctuating exchange rate.
