New WORX 20V Impact Driver Is Power-packed, Affordable and Easy to Use
Don’t be fooled by the compact size, easy handling and affordability of the new WORX® 20V Impact Driver. With 950 in.-lbs. of torque, this powerful and efficient building and assembly tool is capable of rapidly driving large fasteners into hard and thick stock.
“The lightweight WORX 20V Impact Driver attacks big DIY jobs with gusto, and is particularly well designed for repetitive work,” said Jeanne White, WORX Senior Project Manager. “ It’s also handy for removing stubborn or rusted fasteners.”
The user-friendly impact driver is equipped with a ¼ -inch chuck and only accepts hex-shanked bits. These bits are gripped evenly on all six sides to prevent slippage. The impact driver quickly sinks a variety of screws with rotational force (impacts), while minimizing stripped screw heads.
Since the impact driver’s concussions are channeled to the fastener, there’s no residual effect to the user’s wrist or forearm. The tool’s compact design and short headstock provide good maneuverability and easy access in tight quarters.
The 20-volt impact driver weighs only 2.6 lbs. (with battery), and is powered by a 1.5 Ah lithium-ion battery. The impact driver has a no-load speed range of 0-2500 rpm and delivers 0-3000 impacts per minute. The impact driver also features an LED worklight that illuminates the work area.
