Sakamura Engineering Co, Ltd has developed a new through-hole punch that can reduce the need for changing dies because a part of the punch is exchangeable. The punch is different from other dies in that it has super-hard claws that are exchangeable with the claws on pipe punch, thus reducing cost. It is significantly cost saving because the user only has to change the claws when the claws are worn out. The new punch has been filed for patent.
