The Raw Material Price Continuously Increases, CSC Coil Price is Likely to Rise in Arpil and May

Under the storm attach in Australia recently, plus the snow continues to become worse in Europe and the US, international steel analyst indicates that the spot price of international coal and iron ore also continue to increase. The spot price of coal ore reaches US$400/ton while US bulk scrap increases to US$510/ton with non-stop rising circumstances. Therefore, it is predicted that the market of CSC impacted by the pressure of raw material price and interntional price has adjusted the import/export price in March. However, the average increase is merely 2.9% under the concern of NT appreciation pressure has disadvantage of downstream factories to do the export quotations. It is anticipated that the domestic coil price of CSC will increase in April and May due to the traditional peak demand in Q2 and high operating rate of downstream factories after the Chinese New Year.
