Car Sales in Russia Show Continuous Growth in Jan. 2019 and Reach Over 100,000 Units

According to the statistics of the Association of European Businesses in Russia, up to 103,064 units of cars were sold in Russia in Jan. 2019, up 0.6% from the same period of 2018.

Five car manufacturing groups with top sales records in Russia reported the total sales of 81,731 units (79.3% of the total market share in Russia). These five car manufacturing groups are:  

-Renault-Nissan-Lada (5 brands) with the sales of 35,688 units (34.6% of the total market share in Russia)

-Kia (one brand) with the sales of 15,691 units (15.2％ of the total market share in Russia)

- Volkswagen (4 brands) with the sales of 12,981units (12.6％ of the total market share in Russia)

-Hyudai (2 brands) with the sales of 11,025 units (10.7％ of the total market share

-Toyota (2 brands) with the sales of 6,436 units (6.2％ of the total market share in Russia)
