Fastener World & Taiwanese Fastener Suppliers Visit Sunco & Participate in Mini Tabletop Show

In order to assist Taiwanese fastener manufacturers in expanding their sales to Japan and observing the operation way of the Japanese industry, Fastener World cooperated with Sunco, one of the largest fastener distributors in Japan, to plan the Osaka sales & marketing visit. The delegation consists of 30 reps from 17 Taiwanese fastener companies including Joker, Kwantex, Screwtech, Jau Yeou, George Houng, Shen Chou, Chirek, Best Quality Wire, DMScrew, Fu Kai, Charng Jih, Taiwan Shan Yin, Fastnet, Chao Hsing, Dexin, Standing Industrial, and Fastener World.
On the first day of the trip, the delegation visited Sunco's headquarters in Osaka, where they were warmly received by Sunco's staff and toured the operations of the Osaka headquarters' various business departments, warehouses, and catalog display area, and had lunch together. Members of the Taiwan delegation were also impressed by the meticulous planning and management of the Japanese company, and were eager to ask questions during the Q&A session at the end of the visit in order to learn more about Sunco's purchasing needs.
In addition, in order to let Sunco’s reps and the delegation members from Taiwan have closer exchanges and get to know each other, 17 Taiwanese companies also participated in a mini fastener tabletop show held in Sunco, while Sunco also sent four groups of senior professional procurement reps and more than a hundred employees of all levels to interact with Taiwanese exhibitors and had short business meetings, showing a very lively atmosphere.
Super long roof screws and extremely micro screws Taiwanese exhibitors displayed at the tabletop show as well as their excellent production capacity and lead times all impressed Sunco’s reps a lot. In addition, other screw products such as rust-proof, corrosion-resistant and high-strength screws, as well as manufacturers with JIS, ISO, and IATF16949 certification were also given special attention and favor by Sunco’s reps. A few Sunco purchasing reps told Fastener World on-site that they are interested in selling high-strength fasteners of Taiwanese exhibitors, and they have already made appointments with some Taiwanese exhibitors to visit their factories during their next visit to Taiwan.
On Nov. 19, the delegation will also visit Sunco’s Higashi-Osaka logistics center and Nagata logistics center, and then visit two local Japanese companies on Nov. 20 in order to gain a deeper understanding of Japanese companies and the local market.
