Previously vice president of strategic operations and sales, Hickey was promoted as announced via social media. Company officials described him as the "driving force" behind operations, growth, and corporate culture. "I'm honored to step into this role and continue building on General Fasteners' legacy of reliability, innovation, and partnership," Hickey stated. The 70-year-old distributor rebranded to General Fasteners last year, symbolizing its evolution from fasteners to a "trusted partner in global supply chain management."
