According to the rating of "Expert-Ural" magazine , "MMK-Metiz" was selected as one of the top 100 largest exporters of Ural and Western Siberia in 2012.
"MMK-Metiz" has customers from more than 20 countries in the world. The export volume of hardware products following the results of 2012 exceeded 74 thousand tons. In comparison with 2011, the growth of export deliveries was more than 18%.
The rating of the "Expert-Ural" magazine is made from the results of export activities of the Ural and Western Siberia companies (located in Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Orenburg, Kurgan, Tyumen areas, as well as autonomous regions like the Perm Land, Republics Bashkortostan and Udmurtiya). The rating basis resulted from the parameters of the export gains in US dollars. Sources of the rating were statistics on foreign trade, the information of the companies through surveys, and exporters’ reports.
Along with "MMK-Metiz", the number of the largest exporters of Ural  and Western Siberia included 18 factories of the Chelyabinsk area, including "ММК", car factory "Ural", and "CHTZ-URALTRAK".
