Exports of Basic Metals and Fabricated Metal Products in Taiwan in 2011 Up 16.6%

of the basic metals and the fabricated metal products in Taiwan in 2011 was USD301.84 million (up 16.6%), that of the machinery was USD204.72 million (up 22.4%); that of the vehicles, aircraft, watercraft, and realted transportation equipment was USD103.06 million (up 10.4%), and that of the motor products was USD945,600 (down 16.2%). Among these exports, the export value of the machinery to China and Hong Kong was USD708,700 (up21.1%) and that of the motor products to China and Hong Kong was USD403,200 (down 3.7%).

The import value of the machinery in Taiwan in 2011 was USD246.28 milliom (down 6.4%), that of the basic metals and the fabricated metal products was USD270.61 million (up 11.1%), that of the motor products was USD794,200 (up14.6%) and that of the vehicles, aircraft, watercraft and related transportation equipment was USD714,100 million (up 16.4%).
