The current intension of conflicts among Taiwan, China, and Japan caused from Diaoyu Islands dominion has made a great impact to the economy of Japan, especially the operation of car manufacturing factories in China invested by Japanese. According to the official and private reports, China seems to have started to set up trade barriers in certain ways against Japan and the export to Japan was reported to be delayed sometimes. The export downfall of Japan car makers may generate the influence on the profit of component suppliers to some extent as well as influence the operation of the entire supply chain. Toyota is considering reducing the investment in China and increasing its investment in Thailand.
